Everybody cheats in the moment of heat
Where we find ourselves in defeat.
Bottom lines meet and we fall at our feet.
Everybody cheats, lying in between sheets, even if it is only brief,
Creating all that is mischief… Everybody cheats.
Believing that we are swimming in a reef In that moment of heat…
Letting that last leaf fall amongst the heap.
Not caring to take the leap… Everybody cheats.
